This procedure is executed to tighten the loose skin of the inner thighs. It is often combined with buttock firming and flank remodeling. It can also be combined with lateral thigh lifting; in which case it will be a “circumferential lifting” extending to the entire contour of the pelvis.
The surgery is done under general anesthesia; one over night is required in the hospital. The incision is made from the groin area up to the roots of the thighs on the inner side. The skin is then stretched upwards and the excess is removed. After the procedure a girdle must be worn from 4 to 6 weeks.
